The wedding venue, an elegant 1840’s cottage near Tours, offers an idyllic setting with green landscapes as far as the eye can see. We even had the chance to see the horses and hunter go by !
Florent, is a native of Tours area but went to the USA for work. And it was precisely in the course of his work that he met Petrina ! He had come to audit the company where she worked and it all began on Christmas Eve at the company party. The wedding proposal was made at the restaurant on the occasion of our bride-to-be birthday. After booking their location from afar and starting their preparations, they decided to contact a wedding planner to help them find the last vendors and coordinate their most beautiful day. That is where I come into action !
We worked together for several months to finalise the logistics and the wedding decoration with winter and bohemian notes. The bride loves pine cones, so that became the common thread and we built the atmosphere around her tastes.
For their wedding, Petrina and Florent enjoyed the venue all weekend. This accommodation at the venue made it possible to welcome all the guests. The festivities started with a friendly welcome dinner and a pizza foodtruck on the friday night. The next day, it was time to get ready for the symbolic ceremony and the celebration ! The ceremony was a great moment of joy and emotion. The evening continued in a good mood with the cocktail and dinner during which the groom even dared a little demo of tectonics and we loved it! The next day perfectly ended the week-end with a festive brunch.
That weekend we laughed and we cried so much… and we loved it!
